Some are born for it, others are born into it. The latter is the story of chef/owner Daniele Catarci whose families, maternal and paternal, own and run a hotel and restaurant in the picturesque town of Anguillara Sabazia on Bracciano’s Lake.
Nonna Marisa taught Daniele the secrets to good, hearty meals and by 12 years old, he was already behind the stove prepping up pasta, pizza, scaloppine and tiramisù. On the paternal side, Ristorante Hotel Da Massimino, an icon in Anguillara, was catering 3-4 weddings every weekend.
